Jardín de los picaflores
Puerto Iguazú, Misiones

The hummingbird garden is located near the center of the small town of Port Iguazu, in the province of Misiones - Argentina. This is a small garden imagined and developed for 40 years by Marilen, currently assisted by his son Leandro. There are many flowering plants that attract birds, butterflies and of course hummingbirds, many of which frequent this piece of heaven. Drinking troughs containing sugar water provide an additional energy source.
This welcoming, simple and peaceful garden is ideal to observe, meditate and drink a few mates (traditional infusion national drink in Argentina) to the sound of the buzzing and chirping of these real drones of nature.

Leandro recounts: for the last few weeks, via the Internet, we had made contact with Ricardo who expressed his willingness to photograph the hummingbirds of our Garden.
With a lot of curiosity, we were able to observe his way of working, very concentrated, calm, very professional and not bothering the habits of our precious winged visitors.
